Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Melvin Cohen

Dr. Cohen’s goal as a dentist and health care provider is to prevent disease. “The mouth is subject to physical stress, bacterial stress, stress from aging and attrition, and stress from numerous general health issues and the side effects of medication.

By emphasizing prevention at home and through bi-annual teeth cleaning and exams, it is my goal to minimize treatment and care and maximize health so that my patients can have the highest level of oral health for a lifetime.”

Outside the office, Dr. Salcedo is a lifelong learner and adventurer. He’s a self-taught guitarist, often performing impromptu concerts for his two young sons, Arthur and Desmond, and a martial arts enthusiast with experience in Krav Maga, boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—the latter of which he’s currently training in so he can one day teach his boys to grapple.

Dr. Salcedo also loves non-fiction reading, weight training, and morning workouts, which help him start each day energized, focused, and ready to bring his best self to his patients.

He’s been happily married to Dr. Victoria Kha for 17 years—the couple met in a chemistry lab while taking prerequisites for dental school—and together they are raising their young family while sharing a love for learning, adventure, and good chocolate chip cookies.

Dr. Victoria Kha

Meet Dr. Victoria Kha, DDS, a Southern California native and general dentist who loves caring for patients from toddlers to seniors.
